The essence of the program lies in the interaction between Ignatian Spirituality and the Educational Sciences. Ignatian Pedagogy is understood as a course of action and a way of making the Gospel visible and possible.

The program has two formats, In-person and Virtual, that complement one another.

  • In-person SIPEI, open to only 70 guests.
  • Virtual SIPEI, where the seminar will be broadcast live over the Internet (via streaming) for registered users to view. To register, click here.

IN-PERSON

The SIPEI program is based on four axes, each of which focuses on a core idea, on which a guest speaker will present his reflection:

  • CONSCIOUS PERSON (interiority): interiority , and Ignatian spirituality and Christian spirituality. An answer to the search for meaning and significance.
  • COMPETENT PERSON (Learning): towards a new understanding of learning as key to human development.
  • COMPASSIONATE PERSON (Social Justice): Awareness of compassion within the framework of justice and global citizenship.
  • PERSON INVOLVED (Action): a current understanding of domestic life and environmental commitment and action.

In addition to paper presentations, there will be a presentation of experiences directly related to the core idea and round tables with experts, which will be open discussions between individuals who have been involved in each topic.

The presentation of papers and discussions will be broadcast live over the Internet (via streaming).
